I am a new writer and illustrator – bright and shiny like a freshly minted coin! I am delighted to introduce you to Snippy the Crab and his gallivanting adventures. His first tale was published in November 2020 and has been listed by The National Poetry Library. Snippy’s longer-length, rhyming picture stories are for children and adults who love the rich and resonant world of narrative poetry – a land that time has largely forgotten in the rush of globalisation.
Join me and Snippy on some madcap escapades as we explore the natural world, reap the value of community and friendship, discover the Arts (yes, even a crab loves to sing!) and cosy-up with heart-warming endings, all told through our oldest and most compelling form of story-telling — narrative verse.
